Transfer News: Liverpool Target £5m Winger Chung-Yong Lee | Red Want Bolton Attacker

South Korean International Chung-Yong Lee has been targeted by Liverpool's Brendan Rodgers from Championship side Bolton Wanderers who currently lie in 16th place and would let Lee for a fee of around £5m.
Liverpool have been targeting a number of forwards in this transfer window and it seems they now want to sign the Korean Bolton Winger Lee who has successfully returned from injury.

Lee missed almost all of last season with a double fracture to his leg as Bolton were relegated from the Premier League but has been a regular in the Championship this season after returning to full fitness.

Since his return he has made 21 appearances in the Championship and has got 4 goals to his name too. He has also scored in his sole FA cup appearance.

Wigan were understood to be a keen admirer of the 24 year old at times last season but now Liverpool are in pole position with an increased transfer fee should he leave.

Rodgers is looking to strengthen his attacking options in the transfer window with Luis Suarez having been the only striker at the club during the first half of the season and former AS Roma striker Fabio Borini out with a broken foot.

New signing Daniel Sturridge has helped ease the burden on Suarez with two goals already since joining from Chelsea and Fabio Borini as mentioned earlier made his return from the bench against Man Utd at the weekend.

However Brendan Rodgers would like a player who can give winger Raheem Sterling a break and Chung-Yong Lee is a perfect fit.
