Transfer News: Dortmund Eye Nacer Chadli But Face Juventus Competition

Borussia Dortmund are eyeing up a move for FC Twente and Belgian international Nacer Chadli who is also on Serie A champions Juventus's radar.

The 23 year old has been in blistering form over the past couple of seasons with the Dutch side scoring 16 goals in all competitions along with 11 more assists.

The winger would probably replace the outgoing Mario Gotze and is valued at around € 10,000,000 so he would be a cost effective solution to the German international heading to Munich.

Juventus are also in the race to purchase the Belgian and could prove to be a stumbling block for Borussia Dortmund.

Transfer News: Done Deal - Mario Gotze Leaving Dortmund for Bayern Munich

Borussia Dortmund have confirmed that Germany midfielder Mario Gotze will join Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich in a £32million deal.
This means that the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City have missed out after heavily targeted the attacking midfielder beforehand.

"Bayern Munich confirm that the club have reached an agreement with national team player Mario Gotze that he will play for Bayern Munich from 1 July 2013," it read.

"Bayern are prepared to meet the release clause agreed between Borussia Dortmund and Mario Gotze."

This also means that Arjen Robben's place in the Munich set up is now in jeopardy with the Dutch winger only making 14 appearances in the Bundesliga with time on the bench spent through injury and lack of game time.

Now with Gotze's arrival this Summer, Robben may choose to leave with AC Milan reportedly chasing his signature.

Bayern Munich also made another big money signing at the start of this season with former Athletic Bilbao defensive midfielder Javi Martinez joining for a similar fee.

Transfer News: FC Barcelona Want Dortmunds Gundogan

FC Barcelona have drawn up a Bundesliga wish list with Borussia Dortmund stars Ilkay Gundogan and Mats Hummels plus Monchengladbach's Marc-Andre ter Stegen all featuring.
At the request of sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta, FC Barcelona are scouting for talent in Germany. The Catalans have been linked with transfer moves for Mats Hummels and Marc-Andre ter Stegen. But a third name now joins the Bundesliga shopping list: Ilkay Gundogan.

Gundogan, alongside Hummels, rose to international attention for their performances with Jürgen Klopp’s Dortmund. The 22-year-old Gundogan has become one of the side’s key players, a midfield orchestrater with incredible passing and vision that belies his relative youth. His particular skill set means that Gundogan would slot seamlessly into Barcelona’s style of possession-based football. And with Xavi’s genius getting no younger, a young understudy like Gundogan could be exactly what Barcelona need for coming years.

However, Gundogan has summarily dismissed transfer rumors in the past, insisting that he would like to stay on at Dortmund. His teammate Mats Hummels, on the other hand, has stated that he would not be adverse to signing for Barcelona should they come knocking. Already hailed as one of the best center backs in the world, Mats Hummels has both the experience and potential for even further growth.

And with Victor Valdes’ departure imminent, Barcelona have Borussia Mönchengladbach’s young goalkeeper on their replacements short list. Ter Stegen has the qualities for the job. The 20-year-old is a modern goalkeeper par excellence, the proverbial “11th outfielder” with excellent distribution skills to go with his shot-stopping prowess. A transfer to Barcelona would be a huge step forward in the youngster’s development.

These are three young but experienced players, the ultimate high-yield investment. More importantly, all three are well-suited to Barcelona’s football philosophy and would make fine additions to the squad for 2013/14.

Transfer News: Edin Dzeko to Take Pay Cut For Dortmund Move

Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko is ready to take a pay cut if it means that he can make his £20million summer move to Borussia Dortmund.
Dzeko, 26, is thought to earn around £120,000 a week at Manchester City and would earn significantly less if his moved back to the Bundesliga was to occur.

But the striker has become increasingly frustrated at not getting a consistent run in the first team.

And the German champs believe the Bosnian will jump at the chance to join Dortmund where he will be the main man.

The 26-year-old joined City in a £27million switch from Wolfsburg two years ago.

He has 16 goals in all competitions this season but he is facing fierce competition from Carlos Tevez and Sergio Aguero for a starting place.

Dortmund want Dzeko as a possible replacement for Robert Lewandowski who is expected to leave in the summer to join Bayern Munich.

The German giants would prefer to sell Lewandowski to Manchester United but the Polish international seems to favour a move to Bayern.
