Chelsea, Arsenal Lead Race for Toulouse Star Aurier

English Premier League teams Chelsea and Arsenal are both believed to be leading the race to sign Toulouse right-back Serge Aurier who has been starring in Ligue One this season.

The 21 year-old Ivorian was scouted at the weekend by Chelsea who saw Aurier's side go down to Lille in what was a narrow loss.

But they will have to face Arsenal if they want to sign the youngster who has attacked brilliantly when going forward for Toulouse this season with five goals and seven assists racked up already.

The Gunners want the player to replace Bacary Sagna who will most likely depart at the end of the season with the French international's contract expiring in the coming months.

Napoli Join Arsenal in Hunt for Michy Batshuayi

Italian Serie A side Napoli have reportedly entered the race to sign Belgian star Michy Batshuayi who has set the Pro League alight with his 18 goals this season.

Arsenal are the team who is currently leading the race to the signing of the striker however, with Wenger and co being relatively close to reaching an agreement for the 20 year-old so it may be too late for the Italian club to swoop.

The Standard Liege player has a release clause set in September for a fee in the region of 8 million euros but they are wanting a much higher total being closer to the 15 million euro mark instead.

Napoli are also in the market for a new defender to bolster the back line and it seems that Jan Vertonghan of Tottenham and also Javier Mascherano top the list with others such as Thomas Vermaelen and Martin Skrtel also being mentioned as well.

Arsenal, Liverpool, Roma After Hamburg Star Calhanoglu

Arsenal, Roma, Liverpool and Galatasaray are all in the race to sign Turkish international Hakan Calhanoglu who could leave Hamburg due to relegation.

With just six games left, Hamburg find themselves sitting in 17th spot which in other terms would mean that if they finished the season they would drop down to the 2nd tier of German football.

If this remained the same, surely some of the likes of Calhanoglu, Adler, Tah, Jansen, Badelj, Van der Vaart and also Lasogga could all be finding a new home.

The 20 year old has been probably the standout in a poor campaign for his club with eight goals and three assists in 26 Bundesliga appearances.

With a German passport in hand, Roma would not have to use up a non-euro allocated spot which could mean that they will fight harder for the attacking midfielder as they look to bolster their list for Champions League next season.

Calhanoglu is valued at around 8.5 million euros which would surely be a price tag which would interest several more large European clubs.

Arsenal Could Seal Deal for Striker Josep Drmic

Arsenal could reportedly agree to a deal to sign Swiss talent and Nurnberg striker Josep Drmic according to German legend Lothar Matthaus.
Then this happened

Only time will tell whether this will be true or not

It is the 21 year-old's first season in the Bundesliga after moving from FC Zurich during last summer and he has performed very very well with 16 goals and three assists in 27 appearances so far.

Would this be a signing that Arsenal fans want ? Probably not would be the guess.

Drmic is talented yes, but he has only been in the Bundesliga for less than a full season and probably is not ready to lead the line for what you could call a 'big' team. He needs another season to prepare himself for the next big step.

Arsenal fans are expecting a big signing which would either displace or help Giroud at the front.

Arsenal bought Gervinho from Lille for a fee of around £10.5m which means if they sold the 25 year old Ivorian international they would be basically be able to redeem the amount which they paid for Gervinho.

Lyon are not the only team who is interested in Gervinho with Galatasaray also gearing up for a move.

Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger could be tempted to sell the winger as many other names such as Lukas Podolski, Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud considered regular starters.

Gervinho has made just 12 Premier League starts this season with 5 goals to his name as well.

Transfer News: Inter Milan Eye Barcelona's Cesc Fabregas

Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti is believed to interested in a move for Barcelona and Spain player Cesc Fabregas.

Arsenal Look to Atletico Madrid's Diego Costa Instead of Adrian Lopez

Arsene Wenger will look to lure Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa to the Emirates Stadium this summer.

The 24 year old has come to the attention of the North London club after scouting sessions aimed at targeting Adrian Lopez led to an interest in his Vicente Calderon team-mate.

Wenger has been linked with interest in Spanish international Adrian for some months but he is now ready to turn his attentions to Costa, who has hit a good run of form of late.

The powerful forward is into his second spell at Atletico Madrid and has forced his way into Diego Simeone’s first team set-up after an excellent spell out on loan at Rayo Vallecano, during which Costa scored 10 goals in 15 starts and he now supports Radamel Falcao up front.

Costa has scored 15 goals in all competitions this term, form that led to his first national team cap earlier this month.

Arsene Wenger may feel he can tempt Costa into a move to North London given that all talk of a possible Radamel Falcao exit have generally entailed Simeone looking to bring in another big name star to take his place and the Arsenal boss could well offer Costa a better chance of securing regular first team football.

As with other potential Gunners transfer targets the importance of being able to offer Champions League football to prospective additions is of course key, not least because Atletico Madrid are in pole position to secure a berth in the competition after an excellent La Liga campaign.

Arsenal will look to make room for attacking additions by permanently offloading loaned out strikers Nicklas Bendtner, Marouane Chamakh and Park Chu-Young.

Transfer News: On Loan Pescara Keeper Mattia Perin On Arsenal Radar

The agent of Italian goalkeeper Mattia Perin has claimed Arsenal are among those hoping to sign the 20-year-old.
Perin has impressed while on a season-long loan at Pescara from Genoa and in doing so is thought to have attracted several of Europe's biggest clubs.

In Wojciech Szczesny Arsenal already possess a goalkeeper of obvious talent but speculation regardless continues to surround his future and Matteo Roggi, Perin's agent, is insisting they – alongside Barcelona and AC Milan – have developed an interest in the promising Italian.

'There are many clubs interested in him: Arsenal, Barcelona, AC Milan,' said Roggi, who also believes the £17.4m-rated Perin will remain at his parent club for at least next season, to tuttomercatoweb.com.

'Currently, however, there is only one certainty about Mattia’s future: he will return to Genoa at the end of his loan and there is a mutual intention for him to spend at least one season in a Genoa shirt.

'Just a month ago we extended his contract until 2017 and Mattia’s cost is at least €20 million (£17.4m).

Independent of whether Arsene Wenger bids for Perin in the summer, the manager is understood to also be looking at Sunderland's Simon Mignolet and to retain a long-term interest in Liverpool's Pepe Reina.
