Transfer News: Man City Making £7m Move For Nacer Chadli | Mancini Lining Up Twente Star

Manchester City are interested in making a late £7million swoop for FC Twente winger Nacer Chadli but will not go any higher than the proposed offer.
City boss Roberto Mancini is yet to add to his squad this month but a deal for Chadli is on the cards, with the Italian said to be keen on injecting some more attacking impetuous into his side.

The Belgian flyer has long been considered one of the best talents operating in Dutch football, and Twente are known to have turned down a plethora of offers for the player, including previous bids from the likes of Newcastle, Everton and Fulham who have been monitoring the 23 year old closely.

However, Chadli could finally be set to earn that dream Premier League switch, with Mancini mulling over throwing in a £7million offer.

It’s not yet known if that would be enough to convince Twente to sell, especially after they raked in extra cash by flogging Leroy Fer to Everton, but the player’s desire to force the switch could be decisive.

If City could pull off the deal, it would allow out-of-favour Scott Sinclair to leave on-loan, with Sunderland and former club Swansea both expressing an interest to bring him in.

The Belgian international has made 28 appearances in all competitions for Twente and scored a very healthy total of 13 goals and has gathered 8 assists as well.
