Transfer News: Manchester Utd Keen on Porto's Eliaguim Mangala

Manchester United, Bayern Munich and AC Milan are all interested in FC Porto and French centre back Eliaguim Mangala according to agent Fabrizio Ferrari.

Manchester United were said to be increasing their interest in Porto defender Eliaquim Mangala according to A Bola. It was backed up by  the Correio Da Manha, who had said the previous week that interest appeared to be really building in the player.

The 22 year old has been a regular starter for the Portuguese side this season, amassing 14 appearances in the Super Liga and also another 6 in the Champions league.

Fabrizio Ferrari was understood to have said this during the last week about his player.

"Man United, Bayern, Milan, all these teams will want a big player like Mangala. "

"But now we are focused on FC Porto. "

The market is closed until June and that is when we think about it."

The French under-21 international who holds a Belgian passport joined Porto from Standard Liege in 2011 in a €6.5m deal.
