Transfer News: Dortmund to Make Move For Sevilla Striker Negredo

German Bundesliga and Champions League semi-finalists Borussia Dortmund are interested in a move for Sevilla striker and Spanish international Alvaro Negredo who could be the replacement for the outgoing Robert Lewandowski.

According to Spanish source Marca, The 27 year old could be a key signing to replace Polish superstar Lewandowski who seems to be on the move towards Manchester United or Bayern Munich.

Negredo may believe it is time to move from Sevilla who are unlikely to take part in any European competition next season as they currently sit in 10th spot on the table.

The 14-time capped international has been on fire for the under performing side, scoring 17 La Liga goals and also 6 Copa Del Rey goals.

But Borussia Dortmund will not be the only team in the running to sign Negredo with EPL teams such as Everton and Tottenham Hotspur already interested in the player.

Both EPL teams made attempts to sign him in January's transfer window but could not quite get the deal over the line.
