Southampton FC want to add to recent signing Dejan Lovren with the English side lining up a £7.6m move for Valencia midfielder Ever Banega and also want to purchase Celtic striker Gary Hooper.
The daily mirror reports that manager Mauricio Pochettino is wanting to make a move for fellow countryman Ever Banega with the Mestalla side willing to let some of their stars go because of their financial situation.
The Saints are thinking about placing a £7.6m bid on the 24 year old who has been an integral part of the side along with Sofiane Feghouli and Roberto Soldado.
They could also make an £8m move for Celtic star Gary Hooper who did hold talks with Reading sometime last week but wants a Premier League move to help ignite a possible international career with England.
