Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is set to make a move for Bayern Munich defensive midfielder Luiz Gustavo who was part of Brazil's confederations cup squad.
The 'special one' is keen on buying a holding midfielder for his side and are prepared to make a £15m Bid to buy Gustavo which would pave the way for John Obi Mikel to leave.
Mikel is not rated very highly by Mourinho and since then he has been rumoured to be joining Galatasaray which means that he could be reunited with former team mate Didier Drogba.
The same could apply to Gustavo as he hasn't been a regular in the Bayern team for the most part with Javi Martinez favoured in that position and with the arrival of Thiago Alcantara, he could be squeezed onto the out even further.
The 26 year-old made just 16 starts in the Bundesliga last season with 4 goals and 1 assist to his name.
