Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is making a £12m move to sign promising German star Max Meyer with an offer already submitted to Schalke for the 18 year-old attacking midfielder.
Meyer is one of the leaders of Germany's next generation and even at the tender age of just 18, he hasn't gone unnoticed with Chelsea scouting the young midfielder.
Jose Mourinho is convinced of his talents and will be prepared to make a huge offer for Meyer with £12m bid already on the table.
Schalke have set a release clause of £15m however so Chelsea will either need to match this or agree on a lower sum to bring Meyer to London even as early as January.
