Everton and Newcastle Tracking Seydou Doumbia

English Premier League clubs Newcastle and Everton and European giants Monaco and Galatasaray are reportedly battling to try and tempt CSKA Moscow into selling Seydou Doumbia.

The 26 year old striker is likely to move away from Russia during the upcoming Summer and he should have no trouble finding a home with the Ivorian finding the back of the net 13 times in just 14 appearances this season having been injured for a very large portion of the season.

Doumbia has just a year remaining on his contract which means that CSKA will probably have to sell now for a negotiable price although they would like a fee somewhere in the region of 20 million euros.

Everton want to try and bring in a new striker if they cannot retain the services from on-loan Chelsea player Romelu Lukaku to make sure they have a good chance at qualifying for the Champions League next season.

Newcastle likewise, may have to replace their on-loan striker Loic Remy who has been on song as well.
