Torino Reaches an Agreement to Sign Jansson

Italian club Torino is set to bolster their defense with the acquisition of Malmo centre-back Pontus Jansson who has received 5 caps for Sweden.

The 23 year-old has been a regular part of the Malmo line-up since the age of 19 and during that time has also forced himself into contention to be a regular player for Sweden where he has played in 5 friendly matches thus far.

Now, he is taking the next step in his career to play for Italian club Torino who have played some very good football with the likes of Cerci and Immobile heading the attack which has taken to within 5 points of a Europa League with six rounds still to be played.

Jansson featured in all of Malmo's Europa League matches this season and also made 25 appearances last season in the league.
