Liverpool coach Brendan Rodgers is eyeing up a move for Tottenham star Danny Rose who spent this season on-loan at Sunderland.
The 22 year old wing-back has been impressive for the Black Cats this season and new boss Paolo Di Canio wanting to make that switch a permanent one.
Tottenham may also want to take the former under-21 England international back with Benoit Assou-Ekotto who is normally first choice, a big injury concern at all moments and could be heading for the exit at White Hart Lane.
Liverpool have only £20M to spend this summer and could either look to bring in 1 or 2 quality additions with any more depending on whether the sales of Stewart Downing, Pepe Reina and Jose Enrique eventuate.
