AC Milan are ready to try and tempt Real Madrid and Spanish international superstar Xabi Alonso into a move to Italy with an oncoming bid of €14M expected in the next few weeks.
The 107-time Spain international is reported to be on the way out of Madrid but so far has been linked with moves back to former clubs Liverpool and Real Sociedad.
Milan is set to join the interested parties with €4M per year on a three-year deal ready for Alonso should he choose the Sani Siro side.
Real Madrid are also believed to be considering the deal as €14M could be enough to tempt the Spanish side into selling with Alonso only having one year left on his contract and would rather he left now than for free next year.
