Liverpool are reportedly eyeing a move for Schalke star and Greek international defender Kyriakos Papadopoulos who would replace the retiring Jamie Carragher.
With just £20m given to Liverpool coach Brendan Rodgers for this summer's transfer window, the reds need to make smart decisions on who they need to bring in to battle for a top 4 spot for next season.
The very talented 21 year old Papadopoulos would be a very viable option with Rodgers willing to spend up to £13.5m on the man who made his debut at 15 in the Greek national league.
