Transfer News: Tottenham Hotspur to Make Move for Juventus Star

Tottenham Hotspur are considering a move for Montenegro star and former AS Roma foward Mirko Vucinic who is currently at Juventus.

Spurs coach Andre Villas Boas has been looking for options who can increase their firepower up front and so far has been linked to names such as David Villa, Christian Benteke, Leandro Damiao and Roberto Soldado to replace current strikers Defoe and Adebayor.

It is believed that Vucinic could be another viable option as well and could leave Juventus for the 'right' price with the Turin side bringing in Fernando Llorente and closing in on Gonzalo Higuain as well.

This season saw Vucinic finish the season as the highest scorer for Juventus in Serie A, scoring just 10 goals which shows just how much Juve are in need of a world class number '9'.
