Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is ready to make a big money bid on Schalke young gun Julian Draxler who has been a regular fixture in the midfield since he was just 17.
Despite extending his contract with the German club to 2018, Chelsea look set to activate his new release clause of £38million.
Draxler who has been sighted as one of the brightest prospects in world football has already made 6 appearances for Germany and still only 19 years old.
Chelsea would receive a gifted young attacking midfielder, a position that you would think has already been filled at Stamford Bridge with the likes of Juan Mata, Oscar, Eden Hazard, Victor Moses and Kevin De Bruyne all players of the same mold.
Draxler has forwarded his development for Schalke this season with 44 appearances in all competitions, notching up 14 goals and making 7 assists.
