Man City Signs Shakthar Donetsk Star Fernandinho


Manchester City have made their first signing of summer with Shakthar Donetask central midfielder Fernandinho joining for a huge fee of around £30million.


The Brazilian international had to give up £4million worth of assorted payments which the Ukraine side owed to the midfielder in order to secure a move to the English Premier League with Manchester City.

Fernandinho played a huge part in the move with the 28 year old helping to negotiate his fee from the original value of £42million down to the current value but if his form this season is anything to go by he will be worth every dollar.

Man City are also about to announce the signing of Jesus Navas from Sevilla and new coach Manuel Pellegrini in the coming days.

The deep-lying play maker has made 36 appearances in all competitions this season with 6 goals and 10 assists to his name.
