Norwich City have made an enquiry for Liverpool midfielder Jonjo Shelvy who has seen few minutes this season for the Reds, the daily mail understands.
The 21-year old has not seen the field very much since the arrival of Brazilian Philippe Coutinho who has seemingly slipped into the attacking midfield role with success.
With the England youth international's future unclear, Norwich City have made their intentions clear with a move for Shelvy.
The Liverpool player would be allowed to leave for a fee of £5-8million after he joined the Merseyside team for a fee of around £1.7million from Charlton in 2010.
