Roma and Arsenal Compete For Highly Rated Tin Jedvaj

AS Roma and Arsenal are set to fight it out highly rated Dinamo Zagreb defender Tin Jedvaj who is believed to be the most talented Croatian player since Luka Modric.

The 17-year old was apparently close to signing for Roma but now the Gunners have entered the race to sign Jedvaj.

Roma failed with £5m bid and now the Emirates side have tabled a £6m bid in the hope of beating out the competition to prevent new coach Rudi Garcia from making his first signing for his new club.

The youngster has made 13 appearances for the Croatian club side last season and has also made big progress in Croatia's youth international set up where he has played for the under 17 and 19 teams.
