Inter Milan are interested in making a move for Sao Paulo defensive midfielder Wellington after falling behind in the race to sign Radja Nainggolan.
It appears that the Milanese side have lost the battle to sign Cagliari star Nainggolan who is most likely going to join AS Roma in the coming days.
But now they are targeting a cheaper alternative in the form of 22 year-old Wellington who has been starring for his side Sao Paulo in the Copa Liberdatores.
The Brazilian youth international is valued at around 5 million euros which is a possible bargain in the waiting.
Meanwhile in other Inter news, a deal to sign FC Parma striker Ishak Belfodil is all but complete with Cassano and Silvestre moving in the other direction on loan with an option for a permanent deal.
