Napoli Agree €35m Fee for Arsenal Target Higuain

Arsenal look set to miss out on their Summer target with Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain heading towards Napoli in an estimated €35m deal.

The Argentine international could be the third signing of the Summer from Real Madrid for Napoli with Jose Callejon already joining the Italian outfit and Raul Albiol's  transfer a imminent probability.

It is believed that the only thing missing from the signing of Higuain is personal terms according to the Corriere Dello Sport.

Arsenal may not be willing to match the figure that Napoli has put foward for the Real Madrid player with attentions turning towards Liverpool's Luis Suarez instead.

New Napoli boss Rafael Benitez is looking to try and consolidate on their second place finish in Serie A last season with a solid Champions League campaign a necessity.

They have recently lost Edinson Cavani to Paris Saint Germain which means they will have a lot of money to spend for the rest of the Summer and including on Higuain.
