French Ligue One runners-up Marseille up stepping up their efforts to sign Lille star Florian Thauvin who spent the season on loan at Bastia.
The 20 year-old has yet to make an appearance for Lille and now that might not ever change with Marseille making another bid for the play-maker.
Thauvin starred during his time on loan last season with 32 appearances to his name in the league with a stunning 10 goals scored and also 3 assists provided too.
Marseille have so far had one bid knocked back which was believed to be around 5.5 million euros but now they are to come back with an increased bid of 7.5 million euros instead.
The fact that Thauvin was left out of the squad for Lille's first league game of the newly started season means that a departure may be imminent for the future star.
