Boca's Leandro Paredes Heading for AS Roma

Roma are believed to be closing on the transfer of talented Argentine attacking midfielder Leandro Paredes who is currently playing for Boca Juniors.

Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini seems to have found some more South American young talent with names such as Erik Lamela and Marquinhos both joining in recent times before leaving for bigger clubs.

This news may not be new to many fans of the club but a deal for the youth international is around 90% complete with just minor details left to figure out between agent and Sabatini.

Boca value their player at a price of around 10 million euros but the Italian leaders are looking to shave off a bit for a figure close to 7 or 8 million euros instead.

The Capital club believe that he is a ready made player who can slot into the squad despite his tender age and add depth to a squad which has looked a bit thin in recent games.
