Barcelona Target Torres as Villa Replacement

A staggering report which featured on the front cover of Spanish newspaper Catalan Daily Sport is that Barcelona are mulling over a move for Chelsea striker Fernando Torres.

It has been rumoured that the Catalans could be about to make a €20million bid for the striker and is seen as a viable option to be a 'super sub' with the likes of Neymar, Messi and Pedro already likely to be in the starting line-up ahead of Torres.

Jose Mourinho is also most likely to say yes to a deal involving Torres so that he can build his on forward line. Edinson Cavani has been identified as a prime target but also Andre Schurrle, Mario Gomez and Edin Dzeko have been touted as possible incoming transfers during the summer.
