Bayer Leverkusen Sign Hamburg Striker Son Heung-Min


OFFICIAL: Bayer Leverkusen have announced the signing of Hamburg SV star Son Heung-Min who will join as a replacement for the Chelsea bound Andre Schurrle.


The Tottenham and Liverpool target finally ended speculation by making a move to Leverkusen where he will replace Schurrle in a reported £9million deal.

He also revealed that he turned down an offer from German giants Borussia Dortmund as he wanted to play regular first team football and Champions League as well.

The 20-year old will sign a contract until 2018 and could be viewed a financially great signing as they will only use half of the money from losing Schurrle on the South Korean.

The adaptable forward who can play on the left and right side plus as the central striker ended the Bundesliga season with one more goal than Schurrle with 12 but only managed 2 assists.
