German Bundesliga side Schalke 04 are believed to be keen on signing FC Barcelona winger Christian Tello on loan for next season.
The young Spanish forward has been linked with a move away from the Catalans due to being too far behind in the pecking order and that won't change anytime soon with Brazil star Neymar joining. Barcelona may feel that although talented, Tello might just not be part of their future plans and could sell him this Summer.
Schalke who finished in the all important 4th spot this season, are keen on bringing in Tello to help out Klass-Jan Huntelaar in attack.
The German club have already had a recent deal done with Barcelona which could help out this time round with the loan of Ibrahim Afellay for last season's duration.
Tello managed 39 appearances in all competitions this season for the Catalans with a fairly impressive 10 goals and 8 assists to his name.
