Spanish Copa Del Rey winners Atletico Madrid have reportedly made a 14 million euros offer for the services of Inter Milan playmaker Fredy Guarin.
Atletico Madrid have identified Fredy Guarin as the perfect player to give their midfield a revamp in time for a serious tilt at this season's Champions League.
It is believed that the Madrid team have in fact made a bid for the Columbian midfielder but it is much lower than the 20 million euros which Tottenham offered for Guarin just earlier in the summer which means its probably not an exceptable bid.
According to Spanish media, incoming Inter Milan owner Erick Thohir is open minded about the sale and could be open to negotiations involving the Colombian international to Atletico.
Guarin made 49 appearances last season in all competitions, scoring 10 goals and making a further 12 assists.
